About Us

Villarreal Drywall, Inc. has been a leader in drywall industry in Houston for over twenty years; however the San Antonio Division of Villarreal Drywall, Inc. got its humble start in the summer of 2007.

We began with the vision of taking care of our customers by hiring the best staff and subcontractors we could find. Since the beginning, our division has focused on perfecting the process of drywall repairs and installation, increasing communication between customers, office staff, and field workers, and striving to make our customers lives easier by doing exactly what is asked of us. We start each week by asking ourselves what we can do better for you, and that makes all the difference.

We look forward to going to work for you and drywalling the place either your family or your customers family will proudly call home.

Our Friendly Staff
Dennis Cronan

Managing Partner
Dennis Cronan got his first job at fourteen at his older brother's company where he learned the two most important rules of running any successful business...Success is the reward of hardwork, and the customer is always right! Dennis attended college at Sam Houston State University, where he graduated with honors, in the fall semester of 2000. He started working for Edward Villarreal at Villarreal Drywall, Inc., in Houston, where he spent seven years learning about drywall, painting, roofing, and remodeling. He was approached by Edward in the summer of 2007 with the opportunity to be the managing partner of a division in San Antonio. Dennis accepted the offer and has grown the division to be the largest drywall installation company in San Antonio and New Braunfels.

Jesus (Chuy) Muniz

Operations Manager
Jesus (Chuy) Muniz started working for Edward's father at Villarreal Drywall, Inc. over 15 years ago when the company consisted of less than 5 total employees. Jesus' father and six older brothers are drywall hangers in the Houston area so he was no stranger to the drywall installation process. Jesus started as a patchworker and was given a list of jobs to complete each day from Hector Villarreal. Hector was pleased with Jesus because he always completed the list he was given correctly and promptly. As the company grew and Edward took it over, Jesus was promoted to a foreman and managed five patchguys of his own. He gained knowledge and experience over the 12 years while working with Hector and Edward and was asked by Dennis Cronan to come work in San Antonio as the Operations Manager. Jesus accepted and has been the vehicle for the divisions growth. Jesus dispatches all our hangers, tapers, and texture crews, as well as manages our other construction manager, and is Daniels eyes and ears in the field in regards to the patchworkers. He is a vital key to the success of our organization.

Gonzalo brought a breath of fresh air to the company with new ideas and a different perspective on the drywall process.
